This is the status page of Fishinghub, a fishing forecast app. It is a non-profit project with informational and educational purposes, made by fishers for fishers. Neither this website nor the app charges, shows ads, asks you to sign up or sells anything.

The project carries out no economic activity: it charges nothing, shows no ads and receives no money for its use.
What this website is for
It shows whether the app (fishinghub.eu), its info website and the services from other organisations that the app depends on are working: the weather and sea forecast, the tides and the maps. This website gives no forecasts: the app does, and it has its own legal pages (the app’s legal notice).
How it is checked
Every 5 minutes, a program of ours sends each service a light request, similar to the ones the app makes, from Cloudflare’s network, and notes whether it answered and how long it took. The status, the 90-day history and the incidents are drawn from that.
Liability
- The status is indicative. It is measured from one point of the network and every 5 minutes: a service may fail for you and look fine here, or the other way round, and a short outage may go unrecorded.
- A service answering does not mean its data is correct or up to date.
- The services from other organisations do not depend on us: we cannot fix them or guarantee that they work.
- The app’s information is indicative and is not for navigation: its limits are in its legal notice.
- Using this website is each person’s responsibility. Its authors are not liable for damage arising from decisions made with what is shown here.

The names of the services and organisations that appear (Open-Meteo, Instituto Hidrográfico de la Marina, Esri, OpenStreetMap, OpenSeaMap, RainViewer, Nominatim and EMODnet) belong to their owners. They are named to say where the app’s data comes from: it does not mean they endorse this project or are related to it, and what is said here about their status is our own measurement, not a statement of theirs.
